My Mom Thanks You

My mom always said don’t judge a book by its cover.  But not everyone listened, because you are being judged every day by countless people.   And we’re not talking about not wearing horizontal stripes with a checkered scarf, we’re talking the kind of judging your company goes thru the second someone looks at your website.

There are thousands of wonderful websites out there (we’ve built many of them), that perfectly showcase what your company is about.  They are vibrant, full of useful information (just like you), and help bring customers into your life.  And this can be done very inexpensively as well.

But there are also thousands of awful websites that are cumbersome, full of old information, unpretty (definitely, NOT like you), and work more toward turning a customer away than welcoming him in.  Kind of like a disgruntled employee who’s standing in front of your business picketing.

Sometimes there are easy fixes to such websites.  Updated information, nicer imagery, a professional logo and look overall can do wonders.  And sometimes, it’s just the overall layout that is wrong.  Then, the site needs to be “customized” to your needs.
It is more expensive to do, and therefore usually for mid or larger size businesses.  Think of it as going to the store and picking out a suit vs. having a tailor create the perfect fit for you by hand.  In such cases, the sky is usually the limit as far as what you would like your site to do for you.  If you feel constrained by the limits of your site, it is definitely something to check into.  Give us a call and we can talk about what can be done.

In the meantime, try not to judge others if there website doesn’t seem to work.   My mom thanks you.
